Child care workers are the backbone of the economy.

But compensation and working conditions are inadequate.

The Government of Saskatchewan is currently making decisions about the future of child care in our province, with no consultation with those that work in the sector.  CUPE is working with advocacy groups, such as Child Care Now to push the government to have these conversations. No one knows the work and what’s needed to improve child care more than those doing the work.
